''Parectopa bumeliella'' is a moth of the Gracillariidae family. It is known from Kentucky and Arkansas, U.S.A.〔 It was described by A.F. Braun in 1939.〔Braun, A. F. 1939. Notes and new species: Gracilariidae () (Microlepidoptera). - Annals of the Entomological Society of America 32:279–287.〕 The hostplants for the species include ''Sideroxylon lanuginosum'' and ''Sideroxylon lycioides''. They mine the leaves of their host plant. The mine has the form of a wide upperside linear mine expanding into a white blotch, usually obliterating the early mine. The blotch is roughly oval in outline. ==References==
